We come here almost every Saturday for breakfast! Nothing is better than that little mom & pop diner in a really small town that's been there since before you were born & have the same recipes from the 70's. You can tell the food is all home cooked and the staff is always so friendly and attentive without being too pushy. We love Friendly's!

Another great local business here in Elwood. We take our daughter here because she loves the breakfast food, I always get the country fried steak meal, and my husband gets the wraps. Not too expensive at all.

I have been coming to Friendly's since I was in diapers and lemme just tell you!!! Their biscuits and gravy are the most amazing thing I've ever eaten. I used to come in and always ask for Cindy P but she no longer works there . I came all the way from Jacksonville Florida to visit my mom and Friendly's was the first thing I thought of when getting into town! Don't sleep on this place!!

Friendly's is a small hometown restaurant that serves breakfast all day everyday and they had daily specials for lunch or they have a full menu don't want to tell you the food there is delicious I get different stuff all the time and it's been hot fresh and damn so good and I also I want to thank the cook they do a great job with the food and also I want to thank all the ladies up to do they're very friendly I mean family they make you feel like you're home make you feel like a family you know but I recommend that if you have not tried yourself waiting on get your sweet ass is over there try it out guarantee you about it thank you Tim Jones

Hands down the best diner in Madison County. Authentic old fashioned biscuits and gravy, don't forget to try the hungry mans or hungry woman's breakfast platters! Keep in mind they do sell out of their biscuits & Gravy so get there before 11 if you want to guarantee you get some. Their lunch is also great! Come any time of day for great service and friendly workers, as the name suggests!
